Reminders:

Stems/Vocabulary Test
There will be a stems and vocabulary unit test on Friday. This test will cover all of lists 11-13 and random stems from lists 1-10. Please encourage your child to review this week.

Accelerated Reader
Your child is required to read an AR chapter book during the third quarter. I will provide 10 to 15 minutes of silent reading time daily. It is important that your child also read for about 20 minutes each night. If your child did not do well on his/her past AR test, you may want to ask your child to summarize each chapter before moving on to the next chapter. Ask him/her to make a prediction or to tell you what surprised him/her in the chapter. Having discussions about the book will help your child comprehend what he/she is reading.

MAP
We will take the language portion of the MAP test this Tuesday. Please make sure your child eats a good breakfast and is well rested.
